Raccoon Tales

It has been a while since my last Raccoon Tales post.  Well today was a doozy.  Sonya asked me to make her afternoon smoothie, the latest snack obsession.  I obviously was not fast enough to make her smoothie because I walked in and found this.
Can you tell what it is?
A favorite in our house, and Ralphie Parker's.
Don't worry this isn't a crummy commercial.
Sonya decided to to have a little chocolate snack pre-smoothie.

Have you ever seen a face covered in chocolate look so lovely.

I went ahead and made the smoothie.
Today's mix:
vanilla yogurt
frozen blueberries
two frozen strawberries
chia seeds
a scoop of ovaltine
chocolate almond milk
Happy scrounging.

Raccoon Tales

I am starting a new post called Raccoon Tales, since I keep finding Sonya rummaging around in our pantry looking for snacks.
Today was no different, and the snack of choice was kettle corn.
Too bad my kitchen has terrible light, but I have to capture these moments.
I asked her to make her silly face.  Here it is.

I wish I could say that is where the scrounging ended today.
Later, I found her standing on the counter eating Josh's stash of Oreos.
I asked her how many she ate and she she said three.
So I checked the package, and this is what I found.
I found cookies, but no cream.
That is right, she licked all of the cream out of the center of the Oreos and left the cookie part in the box.
Ridiculous.
I really laid down the law with all rummaging today, so hopefully this will come to an end.
There will also be a lock put on the pantry.
I have to say, this face just kills me, chocolate mouth and all.

Foiled Again

I am interrupting my current Michigan posts for this morning's silliness.
Remember this post.
Well it happened again.  I found Sonya in the pantry with the red sprinkles this time.  Can you tell these are left over from Christmas baking projects from a while back.

Yes, she did pick out her outfit today.  Sonya was wearing her "january" (leotard yo everyone else) because we signed her up for gymnastics today.  This child definitely has some energy to burn...only a little over a month until class starts.  Yippee!!

Good Breakfast?

Does this look like a good breakfast to you?

Need a better look at what you are seeing?

This morning I was looking for Sonya so I could get her some breakfast.  Our house is small so there weren't too many places she could be.  I checked the basement and she wasn't there, so when I went upstairs I heard a little rumbling in our pantry and found this.

I wish I could say this is the fist time I have found Sonya in here, or the first time I have found her licking random items.  In the past I have found her licking ice cream sprinkles, cinnamon sugar, honey, garlic salt, and nature's seasoning.
I guess she is working on expanding her pallet.
