Monday Manifest on Sunday

Things I plan to do this week while the weather is freezing cold.

1. Make banana bread
2. Make salt dough valentine ornaments with the kids
3. Have Sonya and I make her Valentine's Day mailbox for school
4. Work on shapes with Teddy 
5. Try to make a home made cake again
6. Do laundry
7. Help Sonya write her classmates names
8. Make a list of all the words Teddy can say
9. Bake a loaf of almost no knead bread
10. Get the blue painters tape out and make a hop scotch game on the floor
11. Hang out with Jillian 20 minutes a day

Dip

I made a super tasty dip with some of my favorite things to eat.  

It all started with a scoop of nutella.

A little bit of valencia butter with toasted flaxseed.

Then, microwave these two for 30 seconds.

 Add a scoop of chia seeds.

Some pumpkin seeds.

And a pitch of kosher salt.

Here is deliciousness before mixing.

I chose to dip my favorite kind of apple, a honeycrisp, in this glorious mixture.

So GOOD!!  

A great salty, sweet, crunchy treat.

I Heart Faces - Innocent Wonder

This week on I Heart Faces the theme is innocent wonder.  I feel like that phrase describes my daughter Sonya's entire life.  She is constantly living in a world of princesses, princes, Star Wars characters, three little pigs, Wizard of Oz, and Peter Pan.  Here is a perfect example of her little world, here she is dressed as Dorothy watching Dorothy.
